I’m in Vegas for M.A.G.I.C. and fighting a cold (Thanks Ali!). I left for Vegas on Monday morning and started my day with a hearty breakfast at SFO and then hopped on my flight to Sin City.
Since then I’ve been running around and running through tissue boxes! Feeling a bit better today and have more running around to do. Be back soon . . .
Friday night Liz and I were on deadline and had to stay up all-night to get some stuff done so we stocked up on some of the essentials and went to work.
Wearing my black sating fingerless “thinking” gloves totally helped.
Yummy treats. It’s easier to stay up all night if you are constantly snacking.
Heading to Vegas for M.A.G.I.C. tomorrow so I need to get my act together. Stay tuned for the word on Vegas.
Above just released part 3 of 4, of his South Central Tour videos and it’s an amazing pictoral journal of his travels through Brasil, Argentina, Peru, Columbia, Guatemala and many more. And as always, the soundtrack is amazing - this time, the Denots from Paraguay are featured. Check it out!
I’ve been the worst blogger lately - too many things going on, too many time zones, not enough time to blog. I promise, I’ll get better, really. I have lots to tell but it’s going to take me a while to get through all the the posts. For now, check out some of the goodies I picked up in Singapore:
From left to right: dress for my God Daughter Adriana, Black Henna for my Hair, Japanese Seaweed Black Hair Color for my Hair, Giovanna shoes for my sister Giovanna, Bangles for the interns, Chanel Gold Friction for me, Singapore magnets. I also picked up some cool clothes but you’ll have to wait for Mirror, Mirror posts to see those!
from Singapore and very tired and struggling to keep my eyes open. Lot’s of mail to go through, unpacking and catching up to do. Ali took over 600 photos so it’ll take me a minute to go through them and post but I’ll be highlighting my trip in the days to come. For now, I need to catch up on life and on zzzzzz’s.
A few weeks ago Ali and I ventured out of SF to explore the beauty that surrounds the city. We visited the Muir Woods filled with gorgeous, tall Redwoods/Sequoias. After a quick hike we had some fun in the sun at Stinson Beach. It was a lovely day and I’m embarrassed to say it’s taken me years to discover the natural beauty that surrounds SF but I’m happy to do more exploring in the coming months. It’s nice to get out of the city sometimes and get a break from the hustle and bustle and just take some time to “smell the roses.”
Sorry for the lack of updates lately, I’m in Singapore and trying to take some time off. I went online this morning and read that Bernie Mac passed away and had to express my condolences. The world just got a bit less funny. May he rest in peace.
I’ve given in. A few weeks back I started a Twitter account for M.I.S.S. and it’s been fun so I’ve decided to start my own personal one. You can find me at http://www.twitter.com/MissMama!
